Decided that this post will be a bit of everything. So many things are racing/running through my mind, and it's best that I just journal/write it all down.
*We had our baby shower last week, and it was absolutely wonderful. We were so blessed to have all our family and friends there and all the gifts we got for Miss Paisley were amazing. Here's a few pictures from the baby shower, and us trying to organize all the gifts in the nursery. I have to say, the nursery is ready to go, and everything is put away and organized. YAY! (Check that off the list)
*I had my last NST appt. on Friday, and baby's heartbeat is a strong 145-155 and the monitor wasn't showing any contractions at all. My doctor came in and discussed that next Monday (June 9th) I will go into OB Triage to get my steroid shots for baby's lungs. Then come Tuesday (June 10th) I will be admitted into Banner Desert for monitoring for up to two weeks. I discussed with my doctor if the plan was deliver C-section June 25th, and in response she said that she leaves for a two week trip to Peru on the 24th. It really comes down to what the perinatologists say and think is best in regards to when they will schedule the C-section. Regardless, I can not go past 36 weeks due to my condition, so we will be welcoming our baby girl in the next 3 weeks! Here's my last "selfie" at 33 weeks 3 days!
*So many people are asking what I plan on doing being in the hospital for 2 weeks. So far in the last 3 weeks I have read several books (The Longest Ride, The One and Only, and Three Girls and a Baby) As of right now, here's my list of to-do of things to do in the hospital:
-Read books (Fault of the Stars; Eat, Pray, Love; Three Girls and a Wedding)
-Blog
-Visit different wings in the hospital, specifically Labor and Delivery, NICU, and Children's area
-Watch World Cup
-Play board games/card games
-Complete memory book
-Welcome any visitors
*Jaris and I started discussing what my plan will be when returning to school. I am told I get 6 weeks with a normal delivery, and 8 weeks for a C-section. If I decide to take all the 8 weeks, I will be returning to school 2 weeks after it starts. There is so many emotions going through my mind of what I will decide to do or how I'll go about doing it. Baby girl isn't here yet, so I have no idea what I'll feel or think after her arrival, so I plan on keeping all options open.
Last but not least, there are so many things I'm looking forward to in the next few weeks. Of course meeting our bundle of joy would be number one, but there are several other things that I myself am looking forward to.
-Taking a hot bath
-Sugar Free Rockstar
-Having a beer
-No more heartburn
-Less bathroom breaks
-Getting back in shape
-Losing baby weight
-Going on vacation
Cheers to the next 3 weeks, I'm sure it's going to go by fast, and I have to keep the faith that everything will go amazing, and it's all in God's hands!
