The countdown of 8 days left before being admitted in the hospital really hit me today. Jaris and I had been running around all morning getting things done, and it made me realize, "Wow, I won't be able to do this in a week." We have been feeling so many different emotions this last week, but we know we will be in good care at the hospital. Today I had to call several different places to be sure I had authorization from my insurance to go in 2 weeks early. Phone calls made to: OB Office, Hospital, Insurance, and Pediatrician. Thank goodness I'm out of school, and that I'm not teaching summer school this time around. (First time in 8 years!)
As for the next 8 days, I plan on trying to get as much accomplished as possible. Here's my to-do list:
*Pedicure
*Massage
*Install Kitchen Cabinet
*Call QT Insurance
*Lunch with friends
*Dinner with family
*Pack my "hospital suitcase"
*Bahama Bucks
*Clean House
*Watch WCWS games
*Take several naps
We can't believe that this is the month we get to meet our sweet baby girl. I don't know if it's really registered yet in my mind that it will happen in the next 3-4 weeks, but we'll be as ready as we can be when it comes. I hope we get plenty of visitors to pass the time that we are in there, and hopefully I have several "to-do" projects to complete while admitted.
